Carrie Underwood revealed her three-year-old son has mixed feelings about his little brother or sister’s upcoming arrival.

The country star announced her second pregnancy with an adorable video in August. Her and husband Mike Fisher sweetly said: “We’re adding another little fish to our pond”.

And while their son Isaiah is excited to be a big brother, he has some apprehensions towards the idea of a baby being around.

“He says he won't change any poopy diapers,” the mum told Entertainment Tonight. And she completely sympathises with the toddler’s views.

“I understand, maybe I can change his mind”, she laughed.

It seems Isaiah is all too familiar with the stinky situation that comes with newborns and the endless nappy changing.

Perhaps he has overheard his parents' complaints about changing his nappies as well.

Either way, the boy has decided it is best to stand his ground and establish his boundaries as early as possible.

Carrie also admitted that her second pregnancy has been quite different than her first with Isaiah, calling this time around “harder”.

“It's definitely different than the first time. When they say every pregnancy is different, it really is. Just different symptoms,” she explained in her interview.

“I feel like this one is just a little harder on my body for some reason. But it's been really good.”

Minding a newborn baby will be a completely different experience with a toddler around as well.

But one of the best parts will be watching her children bond as they grow older together. And eventually, she hopes that Isaiah’s distaste for "poopy diapers" will dissipate too.
