Be prepared for the power of three! The highly anticipated Charmed reboot has finally cast all the trio of magical sisters that will hopefully steal our hearts just like the Halliwells.

The CW show will focus on the three women, who find out they are witches after their mother tragically dies.

The eldest sister, Macy Pruitt, will be played by Madeleine Mantock (Edge of Tomorrow, Into the Badlands). According to E! News, Macy is a clever, pragmatic, and driven geneticist who is utterly surprised by the revelation that she's a witch.

The middle sister, Mel, played by Melonie Diaz, finds herself quite lost after their mother passes away. Mel is a proud activist and a lesbian.

Melonie has graced both the big and small screens, appearing in Gringo, Elementary, Nip/Tuck, and much more.

Finally, their youngest sister Madison will be played by Sarah Jeffrey, of Disney Channel's Descendents and Shades of Blue fame. Madison's sorority girl aspirations will be disrupted by the discovery that she's a witch, and the peppy college freshman will have to grapple with these two disparate lives.

The 21-year-old actress sings and dances as well, so we're wondering if that'll be incorporated at all!

We're also excited about the men set to join the Charmed cast. First off, there's English actor Rupert Evans, who will be playing Harry, a 'handsome, grandiose' professor.

He's apparently very charming and is also keenly interested in the sisters, which has led many to believe he may be a Whitelighter like Leo, sent to protect the trio.

Ser'Darius Blain has been cast as Macy's boyfriend, Gavin. Gavin, beyond being an aspiring filmmaker, is also emotionally open, has a good sense of humour, and is happy to pack up and move across the country for Macy's dream job.

Once his on-screen girlfriend's casting had been announced, Ser'Darius took to Instagram to say, "It's been a long search but we've finally found her! congratulations @missmads I'm so excited to work with you... Go show my tv Boo some love."

Yep, he's a keeper!

We're all ready for the reportedly 'fierce, funny, feminist' reboot, and some of the old cast members have given their own opinions on the new show.

Shannen Doherty, otherwise known as Prue, tweeted optimistically, "I'm intrigued by the idea that a new generation might be comforted, inspired like all you were. Charmed helped us all in some way."

Holly Marie Combs, a.k.a. Piper, had a different stance, sharing on Twitter, "Here's the thing. Until you ask us to rewrite it like Brad Kern did weekly don't even think of capitalizing on our hard work. Charmed belongs to the 4 of us, our vast amount of writers, crews and predominantly the fans. FYI you will not fool them by owning a title/stamp. So bye."

We have high hopes for the reboot, especially with Jane the Virgin's Jennie Snyder as writer and executive producer.

What do you think of the new cast, mums?
