On Wednesday, Mariah Carey was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but it seems fans and photographers were more interested in the mischievous carry-on of the star's children than the renowned singer herself.
Clearly unimpressed by the fuss, Monroe and Moroccan paid little heed to their mum's special moment and instead jostled with one another and pretended to nap across Mariah's lap during the ceremony.
Yawning and placing their hands over their ears, the little ones paid scant regard to the significance of the moment and happily snuggled into their loving mum, threw their arms around her neck and refused to pose for photos - they certainly sound like a few kids we know very well!
While dressed beautifully for the occasion, both Rocco and Monroe made no attempt to hide the fact they would rather have their mum all to themselves!
Clearly enchanted by her children, Mariah cooed at them and smiled easily for photographers while the star's assistant attempted to entertain and placate the little ones.
Mariah, who split from husband Nick Cannon last year after six years of marriage, tweeted her excitement prior to the big event, writing: "'Can't wait to see my #Iambs #Iambily Wednesday for my Hollywood Walk of Fame star ceremony!"
In addition to her children, the Hero singer was accompanied by longtime friend, Brett Ratner, and rumoured new love interest James Packer.
