Claire Foy and her husband of four years, Stephen Campbell Moore, have announced their separation.

 

The two, who met in 2011 on the set of Season of the Witch, released a joint statement to E! News about their split:

 

"We can confirm that we have separated and have been for some time. We do, however, continue as great friends with the utmost respect for one another. We ask for our privacy during this time."

Claire and the History Boys actor married in 2014.

 

The Crown star and her husband have a daughter together, Ivy Rose, who will turn three in March.

 

The parents have certainly gone through a lot, with Stephen sharing recently that he was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour on his pituitary gland in late 2016.

"You realise you’re not the most important person in that process, and everybody who loves you goes through far worse," he told The Sun of the harrowing ordeal.

 

"My daughter didn’t know what was going on at all. But my family did, and I could see it in them."

 

According to E! News, the last time the pair attended a public event together was in May 2016.
