Our weekend isn’t complete without some lovely baby news, and we are delighted to report that congratulations are in order for an Irish star this weekend.

We’re sending our love to actress Leigh Arnold, who has welcomed a daughter with husband Steve Davies.

The couple confirmed the wonderful news in a statement, which read: “On Thursday 17th September we welcomed our beautiful daughter Piper Rose Davies to the world. She was born at 11.30am weighing 8lb 1oz.”

“Mummy and baby girl are both doing great, and big brother Hunter is over the moon,” they added.

What an absolutely stunning name! What do you think?

Leigh and Steve are already parents to three-year-old son Hunter. They also welcomed baby Flynn in May 2013, and were left devastated when the tot passed away from sudden infant death syndrome just weeks after his birth.

Opening up on the traumatic experience, former star of The Clinic, Leigh, paid tribute to her precious son, saying: “Flynn was a perfect baby. He was healthy and extremely loved every second of the day.”

The couple, who postponed their wedding as a result of the tragedy, tied the knot in Ibiza last year.

Congratulations to Leigh, Steve and their family on their wonderful news.
