Denny Deli Style 100% Natural Ingredients Ham product trial feedback

We've had great eating fests using our Denny Ham thanks. Between toasties, sandwiches, omelettes, pizza, pasta all Denny Deli Style 100% flavours are delicious. So here's our review based on our own experience
1) Our family are big fans of ham and would eat it probably 3/4 times a week. However we had cut down recently due to concerns over the additives & preservatives used in most ham products. All of the family eat ham so it's great to have a more natural option and return to using ham more.
2) We would usually use ham for lunches at home. So it would regularly be used in sandwiches omelettes or toasties with cheese. The kids love this. Also might pop on a home made pizza as a topping which kids love making too or into pasta dish which is always a hit with the kids too.
3) Yes recognised it when saw it.
4) I think all the varieties were a big hit with us. Maybe the traditional was the favourite for both myself & the rest of the family.
5) My concerns had always been there about ham, but only really actioned something when I watched the RTE documentary series on our food habits in Ireland. So this new 100% product range is great and gives us the choice to buy a more natural ham product for the family.
6) The whole family really enjoyed the taste of the ham and we were impressed that with such a natural product there was no compromise on taste.
7) Yes, it is great to see that Denny have decided to bring this product to us at a good price. I would have expected an increase in the price of this ham so nice to see that by choosing a more natural product we don't have to fork out a premium price for it.
8) Overall our taste test was a very positive experience and we will definitely be using Denny 100% as a family staple from now on. I have mentioned it to family, neighbours & friends because we were so impressed. Thank you Denny and I don't doubt this product will be a great success. Maybe you might consider researching similar 100% natural sausages if this takes off?

Have to say it was lovely to recieve this hamper and to know that we can give our children what they like without having to worry about the hidden ingredients. The only problem is that it a little bit more pricey, I have 4 children and it would cost me €15 in just ham for sandwiches for them all. If I could afford it I would buy it all the time but for now it will just have to be a treat which is unfortunate as it went down so well, the taste, the texture and the fresh smell mmmmm yummy !

We are big ham lovers in my house…ham & cheese toasties are my personal favourite and the kids love pizza topped with ham (no surprise there!) so I’m really delighted to try the new ham from Denny.
I used to always make the kids ham sandwiches for the kids’ school lunches but had to cut down because there had been so much bad press on ham recently. Well we were all delighted to be back on the ham sandwiches now that Denny have brought out a ham with 100% natural ingredients. Not only do the kids prefer ham sandwiches but they are far easier to prepare in the morning than tuna or chicken.
We liked all the varieties…I don’t think there was one we preferred over the rest. The ham tasted great…it didn’t have that rubbery feel that you can often find with packet ham and it tasted like the ham you would cook for the Sunday dinner.
I couldn’t believe that Denny didn’t raise the price and am so delighted…with a big family, every penny counts so it’s great that my shopping budget won’t have to go up if we want to give our kids the best quality ham. I think this shows real customer loyalty by Denny and will encourage me to buy more of their products in future.

Thank you to Denny for the fabulous hamper! We were only expecting a packet of ham so were so delighted when all the goodies arrived to the door!
As soon as the hamper arrived I made a few toasted ham and cheese sandwiches for everyone (a favourite in this house). We used the crumbed ham and everyone loved it. Even my youngest, who isn’t a big ham eater, really enjoyed it. That night I made quiche with the traditional ham and it was fab. I ate a few slices of the honey roast ham on its own and it was really tasty! Don’t even need bread to enjoy it!
There were no big pieces of fat on the ham which can often be the case with packet ham so I was really delighted with that. Immediately you can tell that the ham is of the best quality by the way it feels.
I am so happy there are no nasties in this new ham…I do try to be careful what I give the kids so it’s great I no longer have to worry about the ingredients in the ham I give them. I can’t believe they didn’t raise the price…even if they did I would still continue to buy it though cause it’s so good. Well done Denny!

Thank you MummyPages and Denny for the hamper ... it was absolutely amazing, and totally unexpected. I knew I had signed up to test the ham, but to get this brilliant hamper was something else.
We all eat ham regularly in our house (mum, dad and 3 kiddies), well we had done, until we got worried about the ingredients and we stopped buying it. So it was a big treat to have it back in the house. We would mainly use it for lunches, but at snack time we often just take a slice directly from the fridge to eat on it’s own. Sometimes we would cook an omelettes or quiche with it too.
I had never seen Denny Deli Style ham until I heard about it on MummyPages – then I started to see it everywhere. The Honey Roast flavour was a big hit in our house, though to be honest, none of it lasted very long once the pack was open. It’s great to see that this ham has only 5 natural ingredients – it’s very hard to tell what ham is natural and what ham isn’t. But it's very easy to see this now on Denny ham. I also liked that it wasn’t more expensive – normally new and improved things tend to be a bit more expensive, so well done Denny for that. Because of the taste, the natural ingredients and of course the price, we will be buying Denny Deli Style ham again. The kids actually ask for it now.
