On the same day that singer Lukas Graham announced that he and his girlfriend are expecting their first child together, yet another star has shared some lovely news with the world.
Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas is now engaged to his long-term partner, Caroline Daly!
The actor, who plays the character of Adam Barton in the soap, announced the big news via a photo shoot and interview in the latest issue of OK! magazine.
Adam revealed that he popped the question to Caroline back in April, while the couple were on holidays in Dubai with their 18-month-old son, Teddy James.
Sharing his delight, Adam recalled: “On the day I was going to propose, Caroline described her perfect engagement ring and it was exactly the same as the one I had bought. I thought she’d seen the ring – I was absolutely gutted.”
The 27-year-old need not have worried, however, as Caroline admitted to being ‘gobsmacked’ when Adam popped the question.
As you can imagine, there are already big plans for little Teddy’s role in the wedding – he’s going to be the ring bearer!
