Michael Bublé confessed that he plans on stepping down from his music career.

The singer and his wife Luisana experienced the toughest time of their lives when their son Noah was diagnosed with cancer.

Thankfully, the five-year-old is in remission but his father is still deeply affected by the tragic experience.

In an interview with The Daily Mail, he announced his upcoming retirement from the music industry.

“I don't have the stomach for it any more,” he explained. “This is my last interview. I’m retiring.

“I've made the perfect record and now I can leave at the very top.”

The announcement comes after the Haven’t Met You Yet singer opened up about his son’s illness and how devastated it left his family.

“It sucks. It still sucks. What we went through was the worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent, and as maybe a human being,” he explained.

“One of the things about going through something that my family has been through is that it gives you great perspective and one of those points of perspective is that it really allows you to appreciate the good things.”

And it seems that the father has gained this new perspective on life.

Understandably, he wants to focus on his family first and spend as much time as he can with them away from the limelight.

It appears that Love with be his last album (available November 16th), and we can’t wait to hear it.

Hopefully, now the singer can catch up on some much needed time with his wife and three children.

We will miss his beautiful songs but are glad that the father is making the best choice for him and his family at this time.
