I've always loved taking pictures, I was snap happy as a kid and teen that carried into my adulthood throw kids into the mixer and well my camera roll is full. So with that in mind I end up having to do a mammoth printing session at a kiosk which takes forever and isn't cheap. I've also used the online option, which is less expensive but you're waiting a few days for your prints.
I've thought about a buying printer loads of time, but the thoughts for having to hook it up to a laptop just seemed like hassle and then printers of old are always huge. Also, where would I store it?
Then there's the real annoying part, if you did buy it, the ink costs a fortune and where do you buy it? I don't have the time or brain power. When we did have a home PC the printer rarely had ink because the wrong cartridges were bought, mostly by my dad who then insisted they were grand - they weren't and then the printer ended up sitting there, idle. Also ink cartridges are expensive. Printing was a luxury. It would see alots changed. So after reading all about HP insta ink subscription program I thought it was brilliant. It's just so handy & thankfully doesn't cost the earth.
I love the idea of subscription, you know exactly the cost and what you need. It's delivered and the old cartridges are taken away. I just don't have time to start traipsing around shops for ink cartridges or wondering when it's going to run out. This way you know where you are with cartridges and even if you're juggling a million things you won't get caught short.
For me, personally a printer is now a huge asset to our family. My two and a half year old loves Peppa or Ben and Holly so to be able to print off worksheets and colouring in pages when they appear on screen is brilliant - he's fascinated. Also, it's another way to draw him away from watching the tv. Bonus!
Coming into summer having a printer fully loaded with ink is a god send for family holidays. It will, for me save the ten emails and as many texts to my husband to print airline boarding passes, car transfer details, travel insurance docs etc. This way I'll have it all done at home and just select the pages with need rather than my Hubble coming home with essentially a tree under his arm and missing a child's boarding pass.
I know so many of my friends are like me, they are 'head of travel & entertainment' in their homes, so I'd definitely recommend this service to them.
I was pretty pleased that it only takes a few minutes to set up, initially I thought this will be a long tedious process but I was done and dusted in a few minutes and I could navigate what to do easily and that days alot as I decided to do my subscription set up during the day with a six month old beside me and a two year old wanting my attention with an endless series of needs, wants and not to mention a biscuit emergency and yet I still managed to get set up.
All in all, delighted.

It's not often that one finds insant ink for their printer. You receive new ink before your original one runs out. AMAZING. Hp have released a brand new Instant ink service. This shows us just how easy it is to keep your pinter flowing.
In our home we would use the printer alot. I would use it myself for work and my daughter uses it for EVERYTHING. She goes from printing off princess pictures to short stories to coloring pages. You name it she prints it. We also use it for excercises to help strengthen her fine motor skills as they are quite weak so I particularly find this great and with instant ink I know we will never be left stuck.
For me instant ink is one of the best ideas Ive heard of in a long time. No matter who you know and what printer they have they almost nearly always "dont have any ink the printer" and this right here is the solution to it.
Also with the HP Instant ink subsription you save up to 70% on buying ink. You literally pay for what you use. Its a win win situation that you would be mad to pass up. I for one always dread going to the shop and spending a substantial amount of money on ink for my prinetr at home. There are different prices availabe and the programme allows you to print a defined number of pages. There is no wastage and you only pay for what you need. It really amazing.
Another thing that I absolutely love about this service is you dont pay anything extra for delivery, returns or recycling. So you are paying for what you use, receive it before it runs out and there is no charge for delivery & returns.
I for one will most definitley be signing up for this servce as we use our HP Deskjet 3720 at home quite alot and this is just perfect and so convenient.I will be reccomneding it to all of my family and friends in the future. Particularly my father. He is forever running out of ink haha.

I was lucky enough to be picked for this trial,I was absolutely delighted as we have gone through our fair share of printers.
This printer is really great, I love the fact that it is wireless and I can print from my phone, laptop and the kids can print from the tablets and ipod. I recently printed invitations for my daughter's party are the colour was perfect, I ran out of ink halfway through but it was ok because I had just got my new delivery of ink a few days beforehand which was very handy as I did not need to go and have the cartridge refilled.
It's is very compact, I have it in my kitchen and you can hardly notice it. It was very easy to set up and install on my laptop.
I will be recommending this printer to everyone.

I was delighted to be picked for the HP Instant Ink trial. I had heard it advertised and it sounded so appealing. We already have a HP printer but ink is so expensive. We used to use generic ink or refill cartridges but HP doesn’t like this and all these warning messages now appear if we use them! I’m a teacher, my husband’s a farmer and we both often print stuff for our work. I try to do any colour printing for my work, in work but the only colour printer there recently stopped working. My 10-year-old daughter did a computer camp last summer and now that she has discovered Word, she loves to do up little projects with coloured fonts, photos, images etc. It was using up so much coloured ink that I was having to limit how much she could print. My 7-year-old doesn’t really look to print out much but we did print out her Frozen birthday party invitations.
The shop in my local town that sold HP ink recently closed, so if we run out of ink and need it in a hurry (for tickets or a boarding pass), we face a 45 minute round trip, so the idea of getting ink in the post in advance of when we’ll need it really appeals. It’s great that there are different plans based on how much ink you use-we definitely use more now that my girls are older! Since we started the trial I’ve relaxed about how much we can print as it’s so much cheaper this way. My daughters have a new cousin and wanted to print out pictures to take to school. Before I would have hesitated but with ink more affordable and spare ink already here in case we run out it was no problem! It was very easy to set up the subscription service and I was amazed at how quickly the first delivery arrived. I am delighted to have been picked and to be signed up for a year and have no hesitation in recommending the HP Instant Ink to others.

Absolutely loved this printer – so simple to set up, and the idea that you get your ink before the printer runs out is fantastic. From school projects, to rainy day activities I’m lost without my printer. And invariably, it’s out of ink just when I need it most.
I really liked that I could set the printer up myself – I’m a bit of a technophobe so I never get involved in these things, but as I was picked to take part, I thought I should at least try to get my head around it. The instructions were really simple, the printer itself is incredibly neat and easy to use. And setting up the subscription was pretty simple too. I surprised myself!!!
The very best part though, is the way it will monitor my usage and will order the ink when I need it without me even having to think. Why did somebody not think of this before?
My little ones are delighted with mummy’s new printer. And I have to say I’m pretty chuffed too. I also LOVE that we can print out photos directly from the phone. Our fridge has never been so up to date with photos of fun days out – and grandma is being spoiled with special photo pages with lovely drawings and messages.Such a great idea, cannot recommend it enough, well done HP Instant Ink

I was thrilled to take part in this trial. Our other printer was on its last legs so it was perfect timing. We do use our printer a good bit more for pleasure really and also printing out online bills etc. We print a good few photos and charts for the kids, they love the reward charts. I like the idea of a subscription service for refills so you dont have to go out and get it, its a great service delivery to the door and the fact that you only pay for what you use it brillant, its great that there is no wastage. Again i love how you dont pay extra for delivery and also the postage of recycling them is free is a bonus. I am really impressed with this printer the prints are amazing i would definately sign up for this and would highly recommend to my friends and family, its a lovely neat printer too. :) Thank you so much.

We've been using the DeskJet3720 for about 6 weeks now.
In terms of size and convenience, it is great. Compact and easy to place in a tight work space.
The quality of the print is really good. Suits our basic office needs. We use Microsoft Office and one annoying thing is that we have to keep going into setting for each print to set it at draft quality. Otherwise it is programmed to run a high quality print which is heavy on the ink etc. Also, we have several PCs on the network but only one of them saves the DRAFT setting so you have to fiddle around with the settings on every print. But, as I say, the print quality is good.
I've only tried scanning two things in the six weeks but had to have about 5 or 6 goes at each one. They either fed through sideways or with unusual dimensions to the scan or missed the top or bottom of the page. Eventually got one that was okay but wasn't hugely impressed with this. Certainly, our previous printer, HP Photosmart 5524, was much easier to use as regards scanning.
Wireless set-up was simple enough. Just picked it up off the network on all PCs in the house. Only downside here, as mentioned above, was that it seems to have identified one of our PCs as the master one and it's the only one that we can save alternative print settings on.
A few inconveniences and in terms of scanning I'd be likely to do that someplace else. But in general terms, it's handy and for basic printing needs very good.
