We would imagine that events of 2016 have caused the Faiers sisters to develop very thick skins.
Just a week after Sam came in for criticism over the placing of son Paul’s car seat, sister Billie has been accused of applying false lashes to her two-year-old daughter Nelly’s eyes.
Tongues were set wagging after Billie uploaded a photo of Nelly during a trip to visit Santa Claus.
“A much more successful trip to see Father Christmas this year,” wrote the reality TV star, beside the charming photo of Nelly posing with an owl.
It wasn’t long before followers started raising questions over Nelly’s eyelashes however, with some suggesting that they are fake!
“I know this might sound ridiculous, but are they fake eyelashes??” queried one follower.
Another responded: “I was thinking it looked like she has mascara on. Surely not – maybe she just has long lashes.”
While Billie has yet to respond to the claims, she needn’t worry – her legion of fans have got her back.
Indeed, a number of followers hit back, urging people not to point the finger of judgment.
“God sake, if you’re not starting on Samantha Faiers, you’re starting on Billie Faiers. Just give them all a break. They are good parents and bring up their children lovely. No need to keep showing hate towards them every time they do something or post a picture [sic],” one fan replied.
Meanwhile, another branded the mere suggestion that Nelly would be wearing makeup as ‘stupid’.
“Give it a rest, will you?” the fan wrote, branding those who posted negative comments ‘keyboard warriors’.
Perhaps Billie is right to stay silent on this one?!
