Join this group
Specsavers is trusted by mums across Ireland to take care of their families’ eye sight. With eye tests, advice and fantastic special offers in all their stores nationwide, Specsavers has everything you need to ensure your family gets the best eye care available.  The team at Specsavers are so confident that they understand family eye care better than anyone else that they are looking for MummyPages mums to test their service and to give their feedback.

We are looking for 10 mums to take part in our Specsavers Mum’s Say trial. As part of the trial mums will bring their child for a free eye test and will receive a free pair of glasses or sunglasses for their child up to the value of €55.  Mums will also get a free eye test for themselves and one pair of designer glasses or sunglasses up to the value of €200.

The parent and child’s sight test and free purchase of glasses will be redeemed during the one appointment. The child must be 5 years or older to take part.

To participate in the trial, you must be able to attend a Specsavers in one of the following locations: Athlone, Balbriggan, Bandon, Cavan, Dublin - GPO Arcade, Henry Street, Dublin - Nutgrove Shopping Centre, Dublin - Tallaght, Galway, Navan, Portlaoise, Waterford, Limerick Cruises Street and Limerick Crescent.

I think this is a great idea as sometimes getting your eyes tested can be a little scary for young children. I myself have been wearing glasses from a young age and have noticed my second child is squinting alot so my guess another eye exam in Galway would be great as staff there are very helpful
