Our box of seeds and paraphernalia arrived to much the delight of my 3 girls, which rapidly dissolved to tears at there only being 2 pairs of gloves in the box - quick trip to Eurogiant later and all was happy chez nous again.Big girl was the director of operations, reading the instructions and insisting that we follow said instructions TO THE LETTER. The two younger ones patted the soil down and watered it before they all took turns strategically placing the seeds into the pot.

Seeds sown, and watered and (covered with a shower cap to act as an incubator), watched and watched some more and we are now the proud owners of a small few green shoots.

We are waiting for them to strengthen a bit more before we separate them out into a bigger pot.

My children are fussy eaters. They find it hard to even try something new - but as they are getting bigger and helping prepare meals, they are more inclined to try what they make, so I'm hoping that by sowing seeds and growing their own food they will be queueing up to taste their own tomatoes. Will keep you posted!!!

Our tomatos grows really fast. I can actually see they are bigger like every day. My little girl Diana can t wait for a vegs so she is checking them nealry every hour haha
