Reality star Luisa Zissman has come in for criticism today for saying she ‘hates growing babies’.

The 30-year-old, who is currently pregnant with her third child, made the comment in an Instagram post from her sick-bed.

Sharing a selfie, she wrote: “Feeling sick in bed with Ellie…hate growing babies. Literally don’t enjoy anything about pregnancy.

“It goes on FOREVER, too. I mean, feels like I’ve got ages. Shouldn’t moan, I know, but it’s no fun – thank God I adore giving birth.”

Luisa – who is already mum to seven-year-old Dixie and 11-month-old Indigo – likely regretted sharing such a candid insight, as a number of people took to the comment section to criticise her.

“You’re freaking kidding me, right?” How dare you say you HATE making babies,” wrote one disgruntled follower.

“Did you ever take a minute to think of us, celebs and non-celebs, who have tried FOR YEARS to have a baby with no success?

“You are so selfish, and you know what causes babies, so stop making them. There are many of us women who dream of having one baby, and here you are, pregnant with your third.”

Another follower took a more gentle approach, adding: “Please be grateful, Luisa. Some of us can’t conceive. Two years in trying, and I’d give anything to be feeling like you.”

A number of mums and mums-to-be leapt to Luisa’s defence, however, and even praised her for speaking so honestly about a subject that many pregnant women keep a secret.

“I’m the same,” wrote one mother. “Hate everything about the pregnancy. First time round I had pre-eclampsia, so she was six weeks early, and now I’m 28 weeks in and got my fingers crossed for the same not to happen again.”

Elsewhere, another chimed in: “I had two miscarriages, so I know all about cherishing that precious gift of a child; but pregnancy was HELL!

“So very, very lucky, but pregnancy and I are not friends! Don’t know how you’re doing it again – never again for me.”

It seems like celebs can’t put a foot wrong on social media these days, as Pink also proved this week!

Everyone’s pregnancy experience is different, and it’s helpful for mums-to-be to talk about what they’re going through – don’t you think, mums? Let us know!
