TV3 star Elaine Crowley has never been one to shy away from being honest.
From talking about her father’s passing to struggles with her weight, she has been a role model to many women who struggle to talk openly about their worries and insecurities.
And now Elaine has been talking about one of her biggest regrets.
“Of course I have regrets in hindsight,” the Midday presenter told RSVP.
Elaine says that not having children is something she does think of often.
“If I had been in a relationship and kids had been an option I would have had them, but I haven’t ever been in a long-term relationship and I wouldn’t do it to myself.
“I probably beat myself up over it and there’s enough regrets in life to be regretting that.”
The 39-year-old went on to say that her busy work schedule has a big impact on her personal life.
“Somethings got to give, if you want everything.”
Elaine is now preparing for the first season of Celebrity Operation Transformation, a decision which is fuelled by her want to raise awareness.
“I was more amused than offended when I was asked.
“But the message of getting out and about is important, because like it or not, as a nation we’re getting fatter and fatter.”
