Those early months with our little ones are so precious. All of the firsts are so exhilarating, and it's fascinating to see the world through a baby's innocent eyes.
That time can also be incredibly exhausting. Lauren Conrad celebrated her baby Liam's first-ever half birthday with a sweet Instagram post that was touching, but also SO relatable.
The style guru shared a photo of herself and Liam (who is has definitely grown so much!) with her 6.3M Insta followers.
"Six months ago this little peanut arrived and made me a Mama," she captioned the post, "I haven’t slept much since then, but I feel so lucky to call this sweet little boy mine. Happy half birthday Liam."
We feel that, Lauren. Being a mum may be draining at times, but it's also awe-inspiring.
Fans of the former The Hills star picked up on the t-shirt she's wearing, which says 'I've been to Paris'.
It's a funny little Easter egg for anyone who was a fan of the reality show. At the end of the first season of The Hills, Lauren controversially decided to stay in L.A. with her boyfriend at the time, Jason Waller, instead of doing a Teen Vogue internship in Paris.
Whitney Port ended up travelling to the City of Light in her place, and Lauren's decision was a major point of contention. One of the show's most-quoted lines is: "Lauren didn’t go to Paris. She's going to always be known as the girl who didn't go to Paris."
Well, she's not a girl anymore, and thankfully she's known for more than that!
The 31-year-old is a fashion designer, author, and has her own super-chic blog. Lauren set up a non-profit online fair trade shop called The Little Market, which aims to empower women in every corner of the globe.
She and husband William Tell are also incredible parents to their six-month-old son.
