If it was up to most teenagers they would be allowed do whatever they want, whenever they want to do it, but if you’re anything like Will Smith, your son or daughter may try to get one up on you but they will never succeed.

Talking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show recently, Will was explaining how his son, Jaden, turned 18 while he was promoting his new show The Get Down in the UK, when he invited his family over to celebrate.

Thinking it was sweet that his eldest child wanted to be surrounded by family on his birthday, Will, Jada and Willow, 15, headed over to London to celebrate the big milestone.

However little did Will know that Jaden actually had an alternative motive for bringing his family to London, but it all became clear when they arrived at a restaurant for dinner.

“We go to a restaurant, and Jaden was particularly excited, you know?” the Men in Black star told Jimmy.

“We sit down at the restaurant and he looks at the waiter and he says, 'I'll have a tequila!'. I said, 'Woah, man, hold up, what you doing?' and he says, 'Drinking age is 18 in England, dad!'”

However not one to let his kids get the better of him, Will continued: “I was like, 'You joker!' I was thinking fast, I was thinking fast, I said, 'Oh, but hold on, hold on, it's only noon in Los Angeles and you weren't born 'til 4pm so you're not 18 yet!'"
