There is very sad news this morning as it has been announced that Stephen Sutton has passed away from cancer.
The 19 year-old raised an incredible £3million pounds for the Teenage Cance Trust through his #thumbsupforstephen campaign.
Recently, Stephen's condition had worsened and his family took to his Facebook page to let people know, however it has since been revealed that he has died.
Stephen was only 15 years-old when he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer.
Many celebrities joined in on the campaign to help him reach his campaign goal including Jimmy Carr, Russell Brand and Jason Manford.
His mum wrote of her heartbreak following his passing: “My heart is bursting with pride but breaking with pain for my courageous, selfless, inspirational son who passes away peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 15th May.”
