It looks like the wider public is in dire need of a pick-me-up in order to combat the inescapable January blues and they’ve turned to little Quincy Kroner for help.
Having first delighted internet users in March of last year, the adorable two-year-old is doing the same again as millions step unsteadily into the new year and require a little help navigating the difficult post-Christmas period.
Circulating Quincy’s story again, internet users are providing each other with warm hearts, indulgent guffaws and much-needed grins as they remind each other of Quincy’s devotion to his neighbourhood garbage men.
If you missed the story the first time around, Quincy is a cherubic little boy who became fascinated by the work carried out by his local garbage disposal men, but upon meeting his heroes struggled to maintain his composure.
Posing for a snap alongside his idols, Quincy clutched his own garbage truck and simply let his emotions get the better of him in a moment which has been documented extensively on numerous social media channels.
Commenting on his little’s boy’s friendship with the workers, Quincy’s dad explained at the time: “We laughed at his imagination, and then we looked out the window and the garbage man was waving! I couldn't tell you how long ago it started.”
