However, little Finn was at the centre of the spotlight this week, appearing in his very first photoshoot with his Xposé presenter mum.
Karen opened up on motherhood in an interview with VIP magazine, discussing everything from the joy she has found in her new role to Finn’s beautiful relationship with his dad, John McGuire.
“Everyone talks about this unconditional love, a love like you’ve never experienced before, and I was anticipating that and it totally delivered,” Karen told the publication.
She added: “What I wasn’t expecting though, was the pride you can feel in a one-week-old baby who is producing four dirty nappies and three wet ones a day. It’s like, ‘Oh my God, I’m so proud of you, baby – you’re actually doing what you’re supposed to do. It’s amazing.’”
Karen also couldn’t help but gush over the bond that husband John has developed with their newborn son, saying: “It’s like falling in love in a totally different way again. Even the way he talks to Finn, I love listening to the little chats they have.”
Karen also posed for a series of stunning photos with her little one who, it has to be said, is already the image of his dad.
