Jeff Brazier is a fantastic dad who has done a wonderful job of bringing up his young sons by himself.

Yesterday, the proud dad posted a holiday photo of his eldest son Bobby on Twitter, writing "Look at this boy today. I can't experience immense pride and satisfaction without equally feeling an injustice that Mum isn't here to share."

When their mum Jade Goody died from cervical cancer in 2009, Jeff was left to raise Bobby, who was five at the time, and Freddy who was four, by himself.

The loss of their mum was a terrible blow to the boys and Jeff revealed how hurt they were, explaining they’d even said they wished he had died rather than her.

“The worst possible thing I’ve heard from both boys would be, ‘I wish it was you that was dead and not Mum,’” he explained.

However, he knew the boys were only expressing their grief and pain at the loss of their mother.

“Grief generates the worst possible feelings, it really clouds your judgement," he explained in an interview with The Sun.

"The words they come out with they’re not always in control of and they’re just saying them because what they’re trying to say is ‘Dad, help me’.”

He later shared his experiences in his new book called The Grief Survival Guide.

“Writing this book has brought me a privileged view not only of grief in its entirety but how we react as humans when processing loss,” he said.

“There’s the value of grief which differs from one person to the next, then vitally, there’s what we personally add to it or what the grief combines with that ultimately decides which journey throughout grief we experience.”

Jeff’s followers were quick to praise him on his parenting skills and offer their support after he posted the photo of Bobby online.

“She would be so proud of you Jeff. You have done an amazing job with your boys,” one wrote.

“Oh Jeff he's so so handsome! I bet Jade is beaming with pride on her cloud,” another added.

Jeff has since found love again with girlfriend Kate Dwyer but he will always put the needs of his sons first.

We think he has done a wonderful job of raising the boys, they are a credit to him.
