I’ve always struggled: Christine cant leave the kids alone with hubby Paddy

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Christine McGuinness has revealed that she would never let husband Paddy watch their three kids alone.

The 31-year-old claims she'd be afraid to leave her Take Me Out host husband on his own, even for one night.

Christine candidly opened up about the guilt she feels over leaving her three children, admitting she would enlist somebody to help her husband rather than trust him.

After being quizzed by new! magazine about trust her husband to take care of their three kids, she said: “No, not even for a night! I’d always have to have someone there to help – and my mum as well.”

Christine has struggled to go out in the evenings ever since her brood was born;

“I’ve always struggled with leaving the children and it’s only recently that I’ve started to enjoy it," she said. "It’s one night and I think it’s good for them to get used to it. I couldn’t do it all the time, though."

Paddy and Christine share five-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, who will celebrate their sixth birthday next week. They also have a two-year-old little girl named Felicite.

Both twins have been diagnosed with autism, while Felicite is also displaying signs of the condition.

The couple of 12 years have been extremely open about their journey as mum and dad since their kids were first born, showing the reality of raising children with autism.

A few months ago, Christine posted a photo of M&S clothing with the labels removed on a table, explaining that her kids hate the feeling of labels as a result of their autism.

"Anyone else spending their night cutting clothes labels off?," she wrote.

"All three of my children hate labels on their clothes. Honestly though I'm the same, I have always cut mine off everything. I'm sure clothing manufacturers are adding more than ever!"

She continued; "I have just got the “autism-friendly” school shirts from Marks & Spencer for the twins and they’re great."

Many mums with autistic children posted in the comments section that their own kids are the same when it comes to labels.

"Been there, love our autistic children", one follower wrote, and another Instagram mum chimed in:

"Thank you for this post. I never knew M&S did autism-friendly shirts. It’s posts like this that help other parents with children with autism".

As an autism campaigner herself, Christine helps other parents to come to terms with the diagnosis and learn how to raise them to the best of their abilities.
