We don't know about you, but in the aftermath of recent childbirth, we struggled to welcome our own beloved family and friends over our thresholds, so as usual, we doff our caps to Kate Middleton who hosted a world-famous couple this weekend.

In addition to handling incessant media scrutiny with the utmost poise and grace, Kate also found the time to grab a cuppa with Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie and her husband, Brad Pitt.

Kate and William opened the doors of their Kensington Palace home in recent days in order to discuss some important  issue with Hollywood power couple.

Extremely passionate about the fight against illegal wildlife trade, Prince William hoped to hash out various topics with the couple who have made no secret of their own concern about the issue.

According to HELLO! magazine, the two couples enjoyed each other's company so much that Kate and William offered to extend the actors' stay, an offer which Brad and Angelina graciously accepted.

Commenting on the interesting meeting of minds, a royal insider revealed: "Brad and Angelina spent much longer with the Duke and Duchess than planned. "They ended up staying for almost a few hours."

This is not Angelina's first brush with royalty however, as the proud mum-of-six was made a dame by Prince Willliam's grandmother in 2014.

According to reports, the Hollywood couple were incredibly eager to meet the much-loved royal couple and made sure to celebrate the birth of their first daughter by arriving with a special gift for the beautiful Princess Charlotte.

This looks like the start of a wonderful friendship!
