Posting on Twitter this morning, the 34-year-old revealed that rumours claiming a surrogate was carrying her and Kanye’s son gave her a major body image boost.
“I secretly loved the rumours I was faking my pregnancy [because] I was so skinny! LOL Well can’t hide it now! 5 months (20 weeks) and 20lbs up,” she wrote.
Kim’s tweet comes just a day after she opened up to Spanish Vogue about her struggle to keep her pregnancy news a secret amid so much speculation.
Recalling the ‘most difficult’ challenge of her pregnancy so far, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told the fashion bible: “The most difficult thing of this year was going to the Met Gala, because I was a little less than two months pregnant and had nausea.”

Revealing how she tried to hide her news by eating healthily in the lead-up to the event, she added: “My husband and I came up with a way that I could only take photos from the front while I was holding my breath and when I turned I would let out my breath and stay very close to Kanye to hide.”
