I love it, simple, quick and tasted lovely and the smell of baking was to die for.

The only problem was trying to cut using their lines, it was hard to take the plastic off after and you needed to keep it on to see where to cut it. Maybe if they could put some sort of indent directly onto the dough to make it a bit easier but it was great to cook with and eat. I used them for a bake sake to raise money for Laura Lynn charity so it was win win

Thanks for picking me

So easy to make, the kids can help and can be made when you suddenly hear some one is on their way to visit ;)

I made the triple choc for a treat for me and hubby when kids went to bed, totally delicious straight out of the oven :)

I love baking and making my own treats but this was a clean and easy way to bake with getting 2 x 3yo and a 5 yo helping :D Very tasty.

Thank you for introducing our new treat for those wet days :D (fab with a hot choc after a windy visit to the beach)

Before trial testing this I had heard and seen this product but had never bought it. The product was delivered to my door by a very nice young smiley girl on what was a miserable day, so the Kooky Dough didn’t even make it into the fridge as I had 3 very excited kids wanting to test this out immediately. Packaging was perfectly matched to the product and the face that I didn't have to go searching for baking paper was even better.
On our first pack we tried to cut to the recommended portions but with the kids helping we only managed to cut 11 which was still great as they turned out perfect size for us, Smell of the chocolate cooking was yummy and the taste was even better, our second batch was the triple chocolate, we cut these in larger chunks and made a childs perfect size cookie which we added smarties on one of them just to experiment. This whole trial went down as a huge success and i earned some Mammy brownie points which is also great. Since then we have gone to the shops and we couldn't find them anymore, where I had seen them before, but my search continues as it is a great rainy day activity for all the family, my poor husband never got to taste them as we had a cookie picnic in front of the fire............ I would recommend this to all my friends as I am no skilled baker at all and they turned out delicious, my little panel of Judges gave Triple Chocolate Kooky Dough top points .......

I would like to thank you for letting us be part of this trial. When we got our kooky dough there was great excitement so we got started straight away it was a great way for me and my daughter spent some tine she was so happy to be able to do this all on her own the packing and so easy to follow and everything you needed was right there. There was lots of playing with them before they finally made it into the oven so I didn't hold out much home for them but I was very surprised with the result they were so tasty and looked great. The different flavours were great too the triple choc was ours. We are hooked to them now and they are part of our shopping list every week. Also the after smell in the house was beautiful it made us think we were in a baker for the day . Thanks again fir letting us be part of this trail

Kind regards

Thanks so much for letting me take part in this trial – I LOVE cookies, and I’ve always wanted to make my own, but never seem to have the time/ingredients. So Kooky Dough is perfect.
I had seen Kooky Dough in the shops, and I had heard Sophie on the radio before Christmas, I think it was on Savage Sunday, and she sounds lovely!

So .. to the cookies. These are a fantastic invention. Everything you need is contained in the pack, you get the dough, which is encased with a wrapper that has markers on it to guide you where to cut and you also get grease proof paper to lay them out on for the oven.
The take just minutes to cook, and even less minutes to eat. Everyone in the house loves them. I have bought them since the trial ... but I’ve got one complaint, they taste like more so you just can’t stop eating them until they’re are all gone.
I’ve promised my little one we’ll bake them for her birthday.
Thanks again for letting us take part, we’re all now big fans.

YUM! Great trial and culdn’t be better timing with the kids on Easter holidays – and especially with such awful weather last week.
I hadn’t heard about Kooky Dough before, but am now definitely converted. It’s so easy to make cookies – who knew?
I’m delighted to have been included in this trial – it was a real pleasure. Making the cookies is easy, we make both types and I’m not sure which was preferred the double choc or the white choc because they all got gobbled up as soon as they were baked.
There’s a fab smell in the house when you’re baking them, and they’re a real enjoyment to eat.
Thanks so much!

Absolutely gorgeous cookies and so simple to make :-) I never heard of kooky dough before but I'm glad I tried them as they were fab. I made the cookies with my little cousins and, as expected, half of the dough didn't make it to the oven as it was far too tempting for a 7 & 8 year old! Triple chocolate chip was by far the favourite for the kids but personally I found the chunky chocolate cookies amazing. I'd definitely recommend them :-) So quick and easy and so much nicer than any other cookies you'd buy. I'd definitely use again.
Thanks so much for letting me test this product,

We bake a lot and I am still looking for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe! These are well up there for flavour. I had seen them in the supermarket but not looked at them as I didn't expect them to be made with butter and I will not bake with margarine. I am delighted with the 'proper' ingredients which you can recognise. I will get them again, they are handy to have rather than a packet of biscuits that can be opened at any time! I will also keep an eye out for other products but would love some with raisins and oats. I also liked that they weren't too sweet..My only bugbear was the plastic casing - not the easiest to get off and the graphics on the box. Cooking and baking is perfect for practising counting. We found the number 15 for how many biscuits to cook but the picture shows 12. My 4 YO daughter did find that confusing - she is quite precise 'is it 12 or 15?!' My 2 YO son was not impressed with the lack of mixing but loved the cookies! My husband loved the lack of mess left afterwards! As I said, I will be getting them again! Thanks for the trial!

I had never heard of this brand before the trial but i must say i am now a total convert. What a fabulous product! I am baker but sometimes it is nice to have everything at had and in one box, Genius!. it was soo easy to use and i love how it only uses natural ingredients.

I thought the baranding was great, the packaging and colours is very good and very eye catching. It had a fun element that would appeal to children and adults alike.

The directions were very easy to follow , apart from my own mistake of not keeping the Kooky Dough in the fridge. The first batch was very difficult to cut so I put the 2nd box in the fridge and even after an hour it made a huge difference.

I didnt make these with the kids but they were my chief tester and the fact that it really is as easy and as quick as the box says I would certainly do it with then in the future.

Taste wise- we liked both flavours, not too sweet or over powering on the chocolate. Although without a doubt all preferred the Triple chocolate Chip.

I bake from scratch all the time but sometimes the kids loose interest very easily. With Kooky Dough, it it soo quick and easy it will hold their attention and excitment.

I would definately buy this again and will certainly be recommending it to my friends.

Thank you so much for letting me take part.

Delighted to have received the kooky dough samples, I had heard of it before on today fm some time ago.

Loved the packaging and how the grease proof paper came with it ,made things so simple.

It was so easy to use, almost too easy,, managed to over cook my first batch by trying to give it too much thought! They were still tasty though! Second batch was perfect, I cooked them slightly under as I like them chewy and kids didn't even get a look in, they vanished that quickly.

Really like the product, would like to see other flavours, something with white chocolate or nuts. I do think its on the expensive side having seen it in the shop also though, might put me off a little

Thanks again

The Kooky Dough was really quick and easy to make. It was mess free and absolutely delicious. I was actually really surprised that they tasted so good as normally package mixes aren't nearly as good as the real thing. The smell of freshly baked cookies was amazing. We loved the chunky chocolate chip flavour. I was really impressed with the fact that Kooky Dough uses all natural ingredients and I thought the packaging was lovely and the instructions were really easy to follow-loved the fact that the baking parchment was included so all you need is an oven and baking tray. Great for when you want a quick activity to do with the kids and don't have the time or ingredients to make cookies from scratch or don't want the added mess normally associated with baking with kids. They would be great for play dates and parties and to use to allow kids in a montessori or childcare setting to bake their own cookes and take them home. I try to bake as much as possible with the kids and will definetely be buying Kooky Dough in the future. Kooky Dough is also a great product to encourage people who wouldn't normally bake to give it a go. I have a feeling we'll be making cookies more now that we have discovered this great product. Will definetely recommend it to friends. Would love to see more cookie flavours such as banoffee and raspberry and chocolate. The range could also be expanded to include muffins, buns etc.
Thank you so much for allowing us to take part in the trial :)

At first - thank you for picking me for this trial.
I know Kooky Dough from the shops fridges. The package is one you can remember. I didn't know that they are made from all natural, high quality ingredients.

I made them with my son. He loves to cook and bake. It was great fun. But it was one problem - it was impossible to cut 15 cookies from the dough. I tried very hard. It was too soft and I think the best result will be to put dough to the freezer for 10 to 15 min before cutting. But when we sort it out, everything was OK. My son was waiting in front of the oven window all 10 min asking is it time to eat? When they were out they also quick disappered. Cookies are very tasty and it dosen't mater what kind of chocolate is inside, my cookie monster will eat them all. Wink

Thanks so much for allowing me to take part in this trial.
We absolutley loved trying out the Kooky Dough. I had seen it in the supermarkets but had never tried it. My three year old loves baking so was delighted to help me test these out! For something "ready made" it was nice to see that it uses all natural ingredients.
We found it really easy to use and the instructions were very clear. The only thing was that it was a bit sticky / messy trying to cut out the individal cookies that maybe we should have used it immediately after taking it from the fridge or maybe even pop it in the freezer for 5 mins to make it more firm? Apart from that we found the whole process very straightforward and incredibly easy, which is great for when you are baking with children. I really liked that the baking paper was included too. The smell of the cookies baking in the oven was delicious! I would definitely recommend using the Kooky Dough as an alternative to baking from scratch as it cuts out a lot of mess in the kitchen!!
I would love to see a few more different flavours in the cookies range, and maybe even some other alternatives like brownies or muffins?
Thanks again, we had great fun making these delicious cookies and will certainly be buying them again Smiling

Hi MummyPages,
I love to back and cookies are a favourite in our house J However my kids are old enough now to give baking a go without my help and I think Kooky Dough is the perfect way for them do some independent baking. So for the trial I used the first pack of Kooky Dough myself and gave the second pack to my kids to test out.
When I used the cookie dough, I found it seriously simple. Perfect for anyone who wants some freshly baked goodies in the house asap! Just cut them up and pop them in the oven…couldn’t be easier. They tasted delicious and were eaten in minutes. I will be buying Kooky Dough again for the next time I have friends over for an afternoon coffee…creates a lovely smell in the house and the cookies are such a lovely treat with a cup of tea.
I left the kids to their own devices with their batch of Kooky Dough. They decided they wanted to get creative, so rather than chopping the dough using the marked guidelines, they took off all the plastic wrap and tried to make shapes with them. I thought it would be a massive mess but they actually turned out perfect! The dough is a little sticky so luckily they were all wearing their aprons when tackling the dough. They made 12 lovely heart-shaped cookies and were delighted with their successful baking!
I would recommend Kooky Dough to all my friends…it’s so simply and tastes delicious. I would love to try one where the dough itself is chocolate…these are always a big hit in my house when I make them from scratch.
Thanks Kooky Dough and MummyPages! X
