Kym Marsh is reveling in the glow of first-time grandparenthood.
The Coronation Street actor has become a grandma at only 42-years-old as her eldest daughter Emilie has given birth.
Her 22-year-old daughter welcomed a baby boy a few days ago and is now settling into motherhood.
Kym made an appearance at the Pride of Manchester Awards where she opened up about her grandson.
She said, ''Emilie is doing great. She has been an absolute warrior.''
She continued, ''It feels like the royal baby, and we beat her as well.''
Kym acted as Emilie's birthing partner during the whole thing and took to Instagram to post a snap of the newborn's tiny hand.
She captioned it, ''Last night was a night I will never forget. I became a “Loli” for the first time!!! I was so honoured to have been a part of bringing him into the world.''
She continued, ''My beautiful grandson, I love you I will always love you and I promise to help guide you through life as best I can. Welcome to the world “Baby Hoz” #name to follow.''
Emilie and her boyfriend Mikey also took to social media to announce the happy news.
Emilie wrote, ''Welcome to the world, my precious baby boy. You have filled a space in my heart that I never even knew was there, and you’ve managed to take over the whole of it.”
Kym followers were delighted with the arrival and took to the comments to express their well wishes.
