Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have had their ups and downs as first-time parents.
But lately, it seems parenthood has been tougher than usual.
The new mum opened up about Theodore’s sleeping struggles and how lack of sleep has negatively impacted their household.
And while this particular hurdle has hit at the four-month-old mark, the DJ recently revealed that the parents have had trouble from the start.
The Irish Daily Star reports that Vogue’s childbirth took a terrifying turn when medics told her her baby was in distress.
On the mum’s new reality show, the parents are told to prepare for an emergency C-section.
Spencer described the scary situations saying: “There's a bit of an issue. His heart rate is all over the place so we're thinking it might be best to go to theatre and have a C-section.
"It's all slightly worrying actually but I'm sure they know what they're doing."
We can only imagine the parent’s fear for their little boy. Vogue barely had time to think, let alone process the situation before being rushed off into theatre.
And Spencer was left waiting outside, pacing the hall as the worst ran through his mind.
But thankfully, the surgery went well and the two’s troubles faded away when little Theodore was placed in their arms.
The pair could not be more grateful for their bundle of joy and are reminded of how blessed they are, even through the hard times.
Parenthood has certainly been an adventure for the two so far, yet they wouldn’t change it for the world.
In fact, Spencer is even thinking of having a second child. But we will just have to wait and see what Vogue says.
For now, the mum and dad are perfectly content with their little family of three.
