Even just the thought of a sugar-binge is enough to give us a headache and add a few extra pounds to the scales, but when it comes to children there is no such thing as ‘enough’.
Indeed, our little ones will use any excuse to get their little paws on a sweet treat – and the sugar high that follows can see them reaching peak levels of hyperactivity.

A young baseball fan has left the internet in hysterics this week, all due to her appearance at a Seattle Mariners game.
The camera panned to little Beatrix Hart, who was standing on her mum’s lap with hands and a mouth FULL of blue candyfloss – and she was more than a little excited!
“We’re going to need more cotton candy,” read a tweet from the official Mariners account, linking a GIF of Beatrix squealing and shaking like a livewire!

It seems Beatrix’s spirit helped the Mariners to victory, and dad Jake later tweeted a photo of his sleeping tot after her sugar comedown.
