Our kids can make all sorts of friends growing up, even imaginary ones.
Lucy Kennedy's baby Jess didn't make an imaginary friend exactly... but it's also not the kind of playmate that can speak, either.
The mum-of-three shared a video on Instagram and Twitter of her little one's fascination with - wait for it - the washing machine.
"Jess has a new friend.... the washing machine," the TV presenter captioned the hilarious clip.
Not going to lie, we've been hypnotised by the spin cycle on more than one occasion.
People on Twitter could totally relate to Jess' obsession with the appliance.
Guilty of doing this too when I was a toddler, it's just so fascinating watching a fast spin

I used to call it channel 4 when my one was small , she'd sit for ages staring into it til it started spinning then she'd leg it

Is she going for a wash or dry?

We are in stitches! It's incredible and a bit awe-inspiring how children find everyday household items so captivating.
Do your kids ever find mundane things fascinating?
