Madonna claims she ‘has no life’ after moving to a different country for her son.
Yes, we are talking about that Madonna; even she gets what it is like to give up your social life for your children.
The iconic singer is currently focused on her children’s careers above her own, and we are so impressed with her decision.
Madonna recently relocated to Lisbon so that her 12-year-old son, David Banda, can truly have the opportunities he needs to be a football star.
The mum told Vogue Italia: "I’ve been desperate to get him into the best academies with the best coaches, but the level of football in America is much lower than the rest of the world.
“I saw his frustration, and I also felt it was a good time.”
Madonna has six children in total: David, Mercy James (9), twins Esther and Stella (5), Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leonson (21), and Rocco Ritchi (17).
She moved to Portugal with David, the twins, and Mercy James.
David is already a rockstar at football and was immediately scouted by Benefica Juniors, according to Metro.
The Queen of Pop, like most mums, feels like she has no time to herself and announced that she won’t be touring for at least a year.
A source told Metro, “she is revelling in a slower pace of life and focusing on her children. That’s more important to her right now."
It seems even music legends have to take time off, and it is fantastic to see that the singer is putting her children before her glamorous lifestyle.
Who knows? Maybe little David will grow up to be a famous footballer.
Meanwhile, Madonna is taking some much needed family time to support her young children and encourage their dreams.
