Teen Tatler is under fire for advice it gave to young teenage girls.

The advice was featured in an article called Ten Charm Rules, of which one rule read: “at some point take half an hour out to flirt (gently) with the parent of the opposite sex and then write a witty thank-you letter – bingo, you’re a winner. Soon, word will get out and you’ll be invited everywhere – dinner, more country weekends, swanky holidays and so on.”

Many people on Twitter have reacted with shock at the advice given by the magazine, with one follower pointing out: “They’re basically saying ‘flirt with dads to get free holidays.”

Do you think the magazine went too far with this article?
