Military mum surprises amazed son with emotional homecoming

We have seen some pretty incredible military homecoming reunions over the past number of years, but this has to be one of the most heartwarming of them all.

 

A US mum, Sergeant Aixa Rodriguez, recently surprised her six-year-old son with her homecoming, during a SeaWord show.

 

According to his family, little Aiden loves attending the Shamu show at SeaWorld Orlando, and always encourages his family to stand up during the ‘Hero’s Salute’ pre-show.

 

What he wasn’t expecting this time however, was that his own mum was the featured hero!

 

The beautiful footage shows Aixa’s nerves ahead of the big reveal, and her emotional reunion with her shocked little boy.
