My little girl has been showing signs of readiness for the last few weeks - she hasn't been sleeping as well, was chewing her toys etc. She also has mild reflux which the doc said would be helped with the introduction of solids. So I introduced her to baby rice initially (although it was another brand).
I was aware of the Milupa brand but hadn't any feeling about it to be honest - either way.
It's really important to me that my little girl gets the best - better even than mum and dad. Knowing the what she eats includes iron and vitamins is really important to me. So I was very pleased to know they were included by default. After starting on baby rice, I had already gotten used to the consistency my little girl likes so I found using and preparing the products very easy. Even if you were just starting out and didn't have a clue, it's very, very straight forward. I think she really liked both but if I had to pick, I'd say she enjoyed Fruity Bedtime cereal a tiny bit more.
I've been pureeing fruit for her too - she loves my berry mixture. I take a handful of raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. I blitz them, strain them to get rid of the blueberry skins and then put it in the fridge to 'set'. It's like homepage jelly - she just adores it. You'd easily know this is my first child. I haven't tried the Spoon by Spoon site yet but now that I know about it, I will. Thanks again for having me as part of this trial - I will definitely buy the products again.
I was glad to introduce something else into the mix - I hadn't used Milupa before (sorry) but after receiving the products from you, I feel better about using a brand that I wasn't familiar with. Being a mum is daunting and not knowing what to use when and where is hard. He liked both types of the food you sent - to be honest, I think he'd eat the leg off a chair if he could. I found the food very easy to make which is good because he tends to get very hungry fast.
I knew about the milupa site as I read it here before. I've already started using some of the recipes - in fact we are also eating them ourselves as it's easier just to make one dinner. I'm not blending ours though
I've already bought more of both products so I will definitely continue using them. Thanks again.
