What started out as a seemingly innocent, picture-perfect moment had a rather nasty ending for one mother recently, as her young son celebrated his birthday.
A YouTube video of a four-year-old blowing out his candles and revealing his wish to his family has garnered plenty of laughter and quite a few gasps online this week.
In the video, the sweet little boy is seen beaming as he looks on at his chocolate birthday cake, as his family sing the traditional rhyme and remind him to make a wish. However, things take an unexpected turn as the birthday boy reveals what he is wishing for: a new mother!
“I wish for a new mommy!” he proclaims, as the family breaks into fits of stunned laughter. Let’s hope his mother appreciates a good joke and is able to overlook this speed bump in their relationship!
From falling head-first into their cakes to denouncing their parents, we can always count on kids to come up with the goods at a birthday celebration.
