Is it teething time for your little one?
My experience of the LloydsPharmacy Change Your Health Direction programme

I didn't have any big expectations when I embarked on the LloydsPharmacy 'Change Your Health Direction' challenge. But eight weeks on and I can confidently say that not only has my health moved in a more positive direction but the programme has changed my life.

You see it wasn't so much about what was going on with me on the outside with poor skin and hair loss, not to mention carrying a few extra pounds. It was more about what was going on for me on the inside, with extreme tiredness, low mood and my overall well-being. What I took from the 'Change Your Health Direction' challenge was an opportunity to take the time to assess my lifestyle, my diet and how that was impacting on my physical and mental health. The programme forced me to be honest both with myself and my LloydsPharmacy health coach.

Ultimately, it became apparent that I was not looking after myself. However with some guidance, motivation and weekly check-ins I finally engaged in the self-care my body and brain so desperately needed. Two months later, I am happy to report that my energy levels have much improved with the right diet, supplements, exercise and sleep. My hair and skin are looking a whole lot healthier and I have my glow, not to mention my confidence back.

The extra weight I was carrying just fell off without any sort of restrictive diet, rather the healthier approach I took to food for my other health concerns had a knock on effect on my weight too. I've been using some toning oils on my post partum tummy and breast areas which has really improved the skins appearance and elasticity in these areas.

The changes I have implemented to improve my health have been conscious lifestyle decisions which will not fall by the wayside like some fad diet. This is my new way of life, for a healthier and happier me. To find out more about the LloydsPharmacy ‘Change Your Health Direction’ programme, click here.
