With a wealth of videos and books at our disposal, most of us already know the ins and outs of childbirth before our waters have even broken. There are some parts, however, that Kim Kardashian was not au-fait with before welcoming daughter North.
The 35-year-old has revealed that she had no idea she would be joining her daughter in wearing nappies after giving birth.
In an interview with She Knows, the mum-of-two admitted: “I didn’t know that you have to wear a f***ing diaper after you have a baby. Like, the mum does – for, like, a good few weeks. It’s disgusting.”
Kim, who welcomed son Saint back in December, was, however, quick to add that it didn’t put her off going again with her second pregnancy!
“It’s all worth it. Childbirth is so worth it. Except for the diaper,” she added.
Kim’s comments come just a week after a photo of a mum posing in a nappy, hours after giving birth, went viral.
The image, captured by Australian birth photographer Melissa Jean, has been praised by mums all over the world for giving a real, raw insight into a new mother’s experience.
