It's arguably the biggest night in Irish television, and with decades' worth of shows in the vault, it's only right that we look back on some of our favourite Late Late Toy Show moments from recent years. Here are just a few.

Any Craic?

Featuring one of our very favourite segments, the bikes and trikes montage, this moment has gone down in Toy Show history. While this little guy impressed us with his perfect Gaeilge, it was his hilarious response to being asked 'any craic?' that left us in hysterics.

John Joe, the horologist

The Toy Show has brought us some very colourful and talented characters over the years, and John Joe has to be one of our favourites. While his Roald Dahl review is first-class, we were left speechless when he began talking about his future career as a horologist.

Domhnall meets his hero

While reviewing a football game, Domhnall revealed that his hero is the great Robbie Keane. He was completely unprepared, however, when Robbie and his family came out on the stage and surprised him. His face in this footage is absolutely priceless – this is one of our favourite moments in Toy Show history.

When Bosco came to visit

We nearly had a minor freak-out when our childhood hero, Bosco, made a surprise appearance on the Toy Show two years ago. Making his first visit to the show in 30 years, Bosco made all of our dreams come true by posing for a selfie with Ryan as part of the vintage toy display.

Danielle wows us

Not only is it a big ask to recite all 32 counties without prompt, but to do it on live TV - on the Toy Show, no less - is a pretty amazing feat; this is why adorable little Danielle wins a spot on our list today.

Toby's wildest dream comes true

If there's one thing that the Toy Show is synonymous with, it's making little kids' dreams come true, and this was the case for talented singer Toby who was surprised with a visit from Girls Aloud. Although he seemed a little overwhelmed in the moment, this is definitely a story he brags about 12 years later.

Dustin the Turkey steals the show

There are too many moments to choose from, but any footage that catches the hilarity of Dustin and his turbulent relationship with Gay Byrne is worth a watch. It's the love-hate relationship of our time.

Oisín and the polar bear

The legendary Oisín was led out on stage with the lovely Mary Kingston, in a bid to test out a new robot dog – but there was one problem: Oisin couldn't get enough of the display polar bear. The result proved that maybe live animals aren't always the best idea on a toy show!

Junior Culchie of the Year

In what was possibly the most Irish thing that ever happened in television, we were introduced to the Junior Culchie of the Year. Yes, apparently that is actually a real thing - and didn't he do well?

The Toy Show co-host

For the first time in history, the Toy Show featured a co-host. After sending a rather entertaining letter to Ryan documenting his ‘middle-child syndrome’, young Fergal Smith’s dreams came true and he got to help out with a segment of the show. And didn’t he do a stand-up job?

This year's show kicks off tonight at 9.35pm. Here's to more magical moments!
