She announced back in December that she is expecting her first child, and she has been sharing her journey with her followers through a series of stunning baby bump snaps on social media.
Now, in a new interview, actress and mum-to-be Helen Flanagan has revealed that while she is incredibly excited about the imminent arrival of her little one, she recently had to overcome a health scare with her unborn child.
“A few days ago I’d been busy and I hadn’t felt the baby kick as much. I did really panic, so I went to hospital. Thankfully everything was perfectly fine,” she recalled.
The 24-year-old added that she and her boyfriend, footballer Scott Sinclair, have recently begun talking about marriage.
“We’ll definitely get married at some point. Scott knows what type of ring I want – one with a huge rock on it. Since I’ve been pregnant we’ve been really happy – I think it’s because you share that bond,” added the former Coronation Street star.
While Helen still hasn’t found out the sex of her baby yet, she is convinced that she is expecting a son.
“I went to see to clairvoyant when I was four months and she said I was going to have a boy. I do talk to my baby like it’s a boy,” said Helen.
We guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
