It was a long road, paved with heartbreak, to welcoming her first child via surrogate two years ago, and now US presenter Giuliana Rancic has opened up on her hopes for baby number two.
Giuliana, who hit the headlines last week after getting pulled into a racism row on E! show Fashion Police, told Life & Style magazine that she and her husband, Bill, have one frozen embryo left.
“This could be our last shot. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that everything works out,” said the 40-year-old.
Giuliana and Bill welcomed their son Edward via their surrogate, Delphine, two years ago, with Delphine having tragically suffered a miscarriage previously with the couple.
Commenting on the devastating news at the time, Giuliana said: “We have had our share of ups and downs and our faith is strong, therefore we know in the end, everything will be okay.”
Now, Giuliana has said that if things don’t work out according to the couple’s plan, she will be content to count her blessings.
“If I don’t ever have another kid, I have to remind myself that I’m very fortunate to have what I have,” she added.
We truly hope that everything works out as they hope.
