Marie Armstrong is a mom who paints original oil paintings for solace, "I have always painted but found my medium in oil, inspiration in the North County Dublin Coast and peaceful painting flows when getting an hour to myself to paint in my car en plein air (or en plein voiture!)."
Marie believe in 'Affordable Art for All', that it should not be a luxury to have an original oil painting that resonates with you and depicts an image or scene that you can enjoy in the comfort of your home.
Marie collaborated with DublinCanvas.com to paint a traffic light box in Kinsealy. It's called "A Great day for the Drying" and is of colourful clothes pegs on a washing line on a warm breezy day. It's a tribute to all the moms, homes and washing cycles forever churning away in the background.
