First of all, thank you very much for choosing me to this tea trial !

I do drink herbal teas on a regular basiss, such as camomile, mint, green tea, fennel, thyme etc. I just love them! Have never heard of Robert Roberts Detox Infusion Tea, but I found it very pleasant taste. And just the only one thing - minty tea with apple flavour - confused me! It's like flavour with flavour :) Otherwise I loved it and definetly will buy and use in future becouse of it's grate mild taste!

Talking about Robert Roberts Blackcurrant Flavour Pu'Erh tea, it was ok, much nicer taste than others Pu'Erh teas I have tried a while ago, but this kind of tea isn't my tea.

So, Robert Roberts Detox Infusion Tea is definitely the winner for me!

I would usually drink green tea or peppermint tea so i was really looking forward to trying out something different. I hadn't heard of Rober Roberts Detox infusions.
I loved how they were packaged and thought it clever how the instructions were very clear on opening the box. I started off with the Apple infusion. I really loved the smell at first and thought it tasted even better. Perfect to drink at the start of the day. I actually drink about 3 a day as i really enjoy it.
I enjoyed the Blackcurrent Pu 'erh tea although not as much as the apple. I found it much stronger both in taste and smell.
I am almost out of my Apple Detox infusions but i will have it on my shopping list as i will be buying this - a winner for me!

Thanks for asking me to be part of this trial

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to test these products. I regularly drink herbal teas, enjoying flavours such as camomile, lemon & ginger, cranberry and orange and green teas and have never tried this brand or heard of the Robert Roberts Apple Flavour Detox Infusion Tea. I have tried peppermint teas in the past but find them very overpowering.

The Robert Roberts Apple Flavour Detox Infusion Tea was the most enjoyable tea as it has a light, refreshing flavour. In most teas, the peppermint is overpowering but this was not the case with this product as the apple flavour certainly gave it a very refreshing, delicious taste and was very easy to drink. I certainly would recommend this product to family and friends, and would sample this tea again due to its refreshing, delicious flavour.

The Robert Roberts Blackcurrant Flavour Pu'erh Tea was not to my taste as it had a very overpowering flavour which I found very hard to drink. I would have thought that the blackcurrant flavour would have been stronger to give it a more fruiter taste.

I don't drink herbal teas on a regular basis, which is why i was so curious to try these Robert Roberts herbal teas. I had heard to Robert Roberts Detox Infusion teas before the trial.
Apple Flavour Tea - i liked this alot, found it very easy to drink, very refreshing and didn't leave an after taste. I loved the aroma from it when pouring in the water in the cup.
Blackcurrant Tea - i also liked this one. Had a nice aroma from it.
Overall i would slightly prefer the apple flavour but i can't fault the blackcurrant one either, i would drink it too.
I would definitely buy the apple flavour again.
Many thanks for allowing me to take part in this trial, i really enjoyed it.

I am both a coffee and regular tea drinker. I’ve always loved the idea of drinking herbal teas but usually distinctly dislike the taste or find them bland or artificial. If I was to drink a herbal tea prior to now I would have chosen peppermint but it would be rare. Even while pregnant I only managed to convert to decaf tea and coffee.

However things have now changed now after this trial introduced me to Robert Roberts Apple Detox Infusion Tea. It is LOVELY. Really pleasant to drink with beautiful aroma and flavour. I now generally have a cup with or after breakfast, after lunch and mid-afternoon. At the weekends I have replaced my morning coffee with a cup of this and genuinely feel better for it. It is refreshing, seems to ease digestion and also (more importantly) doesn’t need a chocolate bar or biscuit to accompany it. I am definitely snacking less now as a result of this tea.

The Robert Roberts Blackcurrant Flavour Pu’erh Tea was alright. The initial smell was very off-putting. Once the steam settled and the smell died down, the taste was actually nice but compared to the sweet aroma of the apple I found it hard to choose the Blackcurrant.

I will definitely be buying the Robert Roberts Apple Detox Infusion Tea (although it is a little pricey in my local supermarket). I think the jury is still out on the Blackcurrant Pu’erh, I am probably unlikely to buy it but you never know, I haven’t gotten through much from the trial so maybe it will grow more on me.

Taking part in the trial was a great experience. Thanks.

I dont normally drink herbal teas on a regular basis. Tried one or two other brands but didnt really like them. I hadn`t heard of Robert Robert Detox Infusion Tea
I really liked Robert Roberts Apple Flavour Detox Infusion Tea, it was mild and not too over powering to other Teas I have tried
I didn`t like the taste of the Blackcurrant Flavour Pu`erh, i tried it hot and cold, will give it another go but will make it a bit weaker the next time - as i don`t like strong tea anyway
Definately I would prefer the Apple Detox over the Blackcurrant Flavour Pu`erh as it is much more appealing and refreshing to drink.
I will be purchasing the Apple Detox when my supplies run and recommending it to friends and family - its great for the digestive system, easy to drink and Appetising

I am not a regular drinkerof herbal teas, I have tried a few before but none have hit the spot! I was delighted to trial Roberts roberts Herbal tea. I tried tthe blackcurrant one first but I found this very strong & I did not enjoy it that much. I really have enjoyed the apple tea, it had a lovely taste and each cup tastes better and better. When I drink regular tea , I find I always need a biscuit with it. Drinking the apple tea I never feel the need to indulge, so hoping I may loose a few lbs tooSmiling

I loved the apple tea, refreshing and not overpowering but really tasty.....have to say though I disnt like the smell of the tea bags. Tasted much better than they smelt. Also liked the feel/texture of the 'tea' that probably sounds mad but some of the flavoured tea I kinda find the tea feels slimy almost.....the blackcurrant tea I enjoyed but not as much. It felt almost like the blackcurrant flavour was added to hide the purah taste....felt it tasted a bit chemical and not fresh....thanks so much for accepting me to be part of the trial.

I felt this was a great trial for me to take part in especially as I am a great buyer of herbal teas…a great buyer but not a great drinker; I have green tea in my press which went out of date in 2010!! So, here was a chance for me to try a different type of tea, up to now, all I’ve tried is peppermint tea and green tea!

The two boxes of tea arrived on a great day; I was stressed to the max! So, I opened up the blackcurrant one straight away and brewed up a mug. I left the teabag in the mug while drinking it as I like my flavours strong. While I enjoyed the blackcurrant tea, the next day, when I tried the apple tea, I fell in love!! I had presumed that the blackcurrant would be my favourite but definitely, the apple flavour won me over and I found I kept going back to that box!! However, I did a mini survey when my mom and sister called out for coffee one afternoon – I got them to try both flavours and blackcurrant won out with them! So, it really is just a matter of taste.

I found both teas extremely easy to drink and one thing I liked about them is that they taste nearly as nice lukewarm as they do hot!! With three small children, I find it impossible to drink a full cup of anything, my attention usually gets diverted and I end up pouring half the cup down the drain, with these teas, I found I didn’t need to do that!!

From having taken part in the trial, I would definitely buy the apple flavour again and would probably buy another type of herbal tea from the Robert Roberts range to have as a choice for visitors. I intend on swopping my morning cup of coffee for the apple tea, the fact that it is caffeine free is such a bonus. Sometimes, in the evening, I’d feel like a cup of tea/coffee but stay away in case they’d keep me awake at night. With this tea, you can have it as late as you like!

Another bonus of it being caffeine free is that my two year old would constantly be asking me for a ‘taste’ out of my cup, I never liked giving her regular tea or coffee, with this, she can have as many sips as she likes!! Like me, I think she prefers the apple tea – I get a lot of ‘yum yums’ when she has a taste!!

I never knew that Robert Roberts was an Irish company so now that I’ve taken part in this trial, I know I’d be more inclined towards their products, even their regular tea and coffee – it’s so important to support Irish companies right now. I am going to try their ‘lemon & echinacea’ tea next as I like a wedge of lemon in hot water so I’d imagine I’d enjoy that tea.

Thanks for letting me take part in this trial; I had great fun conducting mini surveys with my family and neighbours!! And my eyes have been opened to a totally different herbal tea experience, one which will hopefully help me lead a healthier lifestyle in 2013!

I drink herbal teas a few times a week, usually peppermint tea, green tea and calomile tea. Apart from that I haven't been very adventurous. I really like the Apple Flour Detox Infusion. To start with I loved the aroma when you first make it, then the taste is lovely and refreshing. I expected a little more apple flavour but I still very much enjoyed it. I love the fact that it is caffeine free so I can drink it late in the evening without it effecting my sleep. Since starting the trial I can honestly say I have increased by daily intake of herbal tea by two cups and would definitely buy Robert Roberts Apple tea again and maybe try some of Robert Roberts other herbal teas.

In relation to the Blackcurrent Pu'erh tea, I haven't drank Puerh tea before but I believe it can be quite strong. I found it had a nice aroma again. The taste wasnt bad at all, and actually grew on me although I think it could probably do with a little bit more blackcurrent flavour. And I continue to drink it as I know its good for you. I would like to see more of the benefits listed on the packaging though, I think it would encourage sales.

My favourite out of the two was the Apple tea and I would definitely buy it again.

Thanks for letting me take part in the trial.

Sorry for the delay in giving my feedback, sickness in the house so haven't had a chance to write this up til now.
I have bought numerous boxes of herbal /specality teas but have yet to find one that I love. I am not a coffee drinker but love my cup of tea, morning, noon and night so I was delighted to be given a chance to try out these teas.
I had seen Robert Roberts teas before but had not purchased them but will be watching out and putting them in the shopping basket after this.

I tried the Robert Roberts Apple Flavour Detox Infusion Tea first and the aroma from this was beautiful. A real strong smell of apples. I tried it hot, cooled and cold , with and without milk . For me it tasted best when slightly cooled without milk.

I found the Robert Roberts Blackcurrant Flavour Pu’erh Tea very strong in flavour. Again the aroma was beautiful but felt that the blackcurrant flavour needed to be more intense.

My favourite would be the apple tea as I enjoyed the taste of this more. I would recommed both of these to friends and others and tell them to try them with an open mind and maybe they would/will start to drink herbal teas.

Thank you for letting me take part in your trial...i drink green tea and mixed berry/fruit teas regularly but had never tried the detox infusion apple or pu-erh blackcurrant tea. I have to say i loved the detox apple tea it was very refreshing and easy to drink you could drink it any time of the day...liked the apple flavour very much and it had a lovely aroma from it...when i made my first cup of blackcurrant tea i felt the smell was very strong from it...it actually turned me off it but i still drank it..the flavour was pretty strong and not as tasty as the apple tea...it took a few cups for me to enjoy it...it wouldn't be a favourite of mine i think it takes a while to acquire a taste for it where as the apple tea was lovely from the first cup...ill definitely be drinking that again!
