They welcomed their little ones just over a year ago, and the first birthday celebrations of Gabriella and Jacques of Monaco have coincided with another milestone – their first Christmas card!

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert have released their first festive holiday card featuring their twins, marking a momentous year for the royal family.

The card features a beautiful shot captured by photographer Christopher Morris, and shows the family relaxing in front of a Christmas tree and log fire.

The tots are clearly naturals in front of the camera; while Jacques is seen posing happily on the lap of his father, little Gabriella took the time to enjoy a little snack!

The beautiful card was shared on Twitter through the Princess Grace Foundation account, the message reading: “Best wishes! Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco share their first Christmas card.”

This is a certainly a very different scenario from last year, when Princess Charlene was forced to remain in hospital to recuperate following the birth of her tots.

While Jacques and Gabriella are the first children for the couple, Prince Albert is also father to 22-year-old daughter Jazmin Grace and 11-year-old son Alexandre Coste.
