Having initially kept schtum about the birth of his baby daughter at the end of last year, it looks like Hollywood actor, Ryan Reynolds, is now more than happy to share intimate details of baby James' arrival in December.

Speaking candidly to chatshow host, Conon O'Brien, on Tuesday, the Adventureland star explained how his wife, Blake, dealt with childbirth.

Paying tribute to his 27-year-old partner's sense of humour during the candid interview, 38-year-old Ryan said: "She was cracking jokes in the delivery room!"

Elaborating on her attitude while preparing to welcome their first child, Ryan continued: "At one point in the middle of the delivery, the doctor’s cell phone went off and she said, ‘Oh, no. Go ahead, take a personal call. Feel free.’

With his trademark sense of humour, the popular actor questioned his wife's laidback attitude on the big day, joking: "She may have been on drugs, but I don't ask personal questions."

Turning focus on himself, the Proposal star admitted Blake may have ultimately regretted her choice of coach, with Ryan sheepishly admitting: "I was just a terrible coach. There was a lot of clapping. I went for a couple of high fives, but she did not."

We wonder how Blake will feel about Ryan's decision to disclose so much!
