As mums we should all be there to support and encourage each other, not berate and condemn for doing one of the most natural things ever: breastfeed.
But, sadly, that is exactly what happened to the former TOWIE star Sam Faiers recently after she shared a Snapchat of her breastfeeding her son, Paul.
Captioning the photo “milk and bed”, the 25-year-old can be seen lying on her side with her seven-month-old latched on.
While it is a beautiful photo of Mum and Baby, some of her followers were quick to criticise the star with many taking to Twitter to question why she would share the photo.

I'm all for women breast feeding in public but does Sam Faiers really need to put it on her snapchat story

Thankfully, however, there were plenty of others who were quick to jump to her defence, with one describing it as "beautiful" and another saying "it was natural".
@SamanthaFaiers #brelfie love it girl!

I bet half the people shaming @SamanthaFaiers over her breastfeeding selfie wouldn't be offended if she posed topless in a lads mag.

Today marks the start of World Breastfeeding Week, and while Sam has yet to comment on the controversy, her post is a great way to get people talking about breastfeeding.
