Singer Jana Kramer revealed that she and husband Michael Caussin were so eager to find out the sex that she had her blood tested at just ten weeks.
"My husband and I were so anxious to find out the sex of our baby that we did the early blood work test at 10 weeks to find out," she wrote in her People blog.
Explaining how it wasn’t a nurse who delivered the happy news but rather her friends and family, Jana, who also used to be an actress in One Tree Hill, wrote: "I had my nurse call my best friend Kathryn to give her the news. We then invited our closest friends over and had them fill up water guns with paint of either pink or blue. Mike and I were so anxious to see what colour it was going to be."
It was here that the couple found out that they are expecting a little girl!
The 31-year-old also admitted in the post that she met with doctors and “went through some not-so-fun stuff” before conceiving.
“Without getting into detail, it was a very stressful time for something that is supposed to be fun. My heart goes out to the women who struggle with conceiving,” she wrote.
