Strictly Come Dancing: Seann Walsh is furious at his elimination

Seann Walshe is the latest star to get the boot from Strictly Come Dancing.

The comedian batted it out alongside his dance partner Katya Jones against cricketer Graeme Swann and his partner Oti Mabuse in the dance-off on Sunday night's results show.

While his Halloween routine to I Put A Spell On You had a good concept, it lacked any real dancing and the four judges opted to save Graeme, who performed an entertaining routine to Michael Jackson's Thriller.

Seann appeared on spin-off show It Takes Two, where he spoke about how disappointed he was at no longer being in the competition.

He said, ''that is the angriest I’ve been afterward because I knew the dance and I knew I could do it, and when I did the jive I was walking into the jive going, this is not going to work. On Saturday I started going, we’ve got this, and I messed it up and I was really angry at myself.”

He did admit that he got a bit emotional watching back his time on the show, but that it was a miracle that he made it as far as he did.

He said, ''I genuinely, I think I said this, I thought I’d be out week one because at the beginning I couldn't do anything.''

He continued, ''you had to teach me how to walk, how to breathe...To get to week six, I think it’s a miracle.”

Reports have claimed that judge Craig Revel Horwood was popping the champagne in the wake of the 32-year-old's departure, as Seann had become one of the most unpopular contestants in the show's history following his ''kiss-gate'' with married dancer Katya Jones.

The pair were snapped passionately kissing outside a pub a few weeks ago, on the night of Seann's girlfriends birthday.

While his now - ex, actor Rebecca Humphries, dumped him on Twitter, Katya's husband Neil silent on the matter and Katya later said that they were ''absolutely fine.''

The public seemed divided on their departure with many expressing their happiness that they had left.

One wrote, ''I think the right couple was sent home they should’ve gone last week no offense but you did fall over Katya'' while another said, ''I hope that with the spotlight now off you, you can be proud of your dancing and for entertaining us.''

While the pair will no longer be competing, the ten remaining couples will take to the dance floor next week on BBC One at 7.05pm.
