We’re sending major congratulations to Take That star Howard Donald this morning, after the announcment that his wife, Katie Halil, is pregnant with their first child.
The 47-year-old took to Twitter late last night to share the wonderful news, writing: “I have some amazing news to share with you all…Katie and I are having a baby!”
“So proud of my beautiful wife and can’t wait for the newest member of our family to arrive,” he added.
He went on to thank fans for their well wishes, confirming that the baby is due early next year, in January.
While this will be the first child for Howard and Katie, the singer is already dad to two daughters from previous relationships: 16-year-old Grace and 10-year-old Lola.
Howard and Katie, who began dating in 2010, got married on January 2 this year.
While details of the nuptials were kept under wraps, a rep for Howard confirmed the news at the time.

“Everyone is so chuffed for Howard and Katie; they make a gorgeous couple,” a friend told the Daily Mirror at the time.
