Recently we reported on a trend which is making waves Stateside and sees tots and little ones don tattoo sleeves during family photo shoots - something which ignited serious discussion online as members of the public debated the issue amongst each other.

Deciding to weigh in on the matter while speaking to New magazine, dad-of-three Peter Andre, who recently welcomed a baby girl into his life, insisted he has no problem with children wearing fake sleeves in an effort to inject a little excitement into what can often be a relatively stuffy affair.

Drawing on his own experience of both childhood and fatherhood, the 43-year-old performer, said: "Junior likes to wear those fake tattoo stickers sometimes and I see no harm in it. I used to wear them all the time as a kid, too!"

Peter, who hosts 60 Minute Makeover, offered some words of advice to anyone taking umbrage with the practice, saying: "Apparently, some people are not happy about them, but I think they should take a chill pill."

Reminding the public that the sleeves are nothing more than fabric which can be removed after the photoshoot, Peter, who shares two children with former glamour model Katie Price, insisted: "They're just a bit of fun and aren't offending anyone."

It looks life something is in the air this week as Peter's ex-wife has also taken the time to voice her opinion on a new baby trend, calling heeled leopard print baby shoes 'vile' in a recent Instagram upload.

What are your thoughts on the tattoo sleeves? Yay or nay?
