So you've finally managed to persuade your child to take part in a professional photo shoot, now what?

Generally a mother's attention is then turned to that all-important outfit, but with many mothers lamenting the lack of choice on the market, a staggering number have decided to avail of the services offered by children's photographer, Tera, from North Dakota.

Eager to add a quirky kick to standard proceedings, Tera offers her subjects the opportunity to dress up and sport tattoo sleeves depicting images of skulls, flames, hearts and barbed wire in a move which has been lauded by innumerable clients.

Reflecting on the motivation behind her designs, she explained: "Having been a professional children's photographer for 10 years, I've seen hundreds of kids come to my studio. While the kids are always fun and adorable, sometimes their clothes are boring and the same old thing over and over again."

As a mum of four, Tera, according to the Daily Mail, sympathised with clients who struggled to find clothes which reflected their child's personality, saying: "Every time I was shopping for clothes for my girls for an upcoming photo session or event, I wanted to find something unique, hip, and fun."

"Something that I had not seen before a million times. I simply wanted rockin' clothes, and I could never find them! So I decided to make my own," she revealed while explaining that her designs have been a 'huge hit' among families.

"I had lots of moms begging me to come up with something unique for boys, and I found it in tattoo sleeve shirts, she explained. "Our tattoo sleeve shirts are made with soft 100 per cent jersey cotton shirts and nylon/spandex blend sleeves that are cool, comfy, breathable, and rad."

Would this be something you would welcome at your next family photo shoot?
