Parenthood is hard enough without these eight types of mums sticking their oar in!

You might want to steer clear of them, especially after you have just given birth and you’re feeling a little emotional...!

The 'perfect' mum

There is no such thing as the perfect mum, but that won’t stop people insisting that they are! You might want to avoid these when you have spent the last three hours trying to just leave your house.

The 'my baby sleeps' mum

You definitely want to stay away from this mum, especially when you haven’t slept for the past two nights because your little one hasn’t been able to settle!

The 'fit' mum

There is always one mum who will make you feel frumpy and unfit with her magic ’I had a baby two days ago but my stomach is as flat as a pancake’ abs!

The 'nosey' mum

The nosey mum asks questions that you don’t want to answer! Usually body related, and they have no problem indulging you with their own experiences!

The 'I know better' mum

There is always one mum who knows better, usually your own mother! And while we love her, sometimes we know best!

The 'I can juggle motherhood, a full time job and manage to leave the house with my make-up done' mum

Not all of us have the motivation or time to brush our  hair never mind do our make-up!

The 'I never let my kids have sweets' mum

You are guaranteed to meet this mum in the supermarket, while she busily picks up fresh fruit and vegetables and you are caught mulling over which biscuits would go better with your tea. We’d go for the chocolate digestives!

The 'what are you doing for your baby’s first birthday' mum

They have organised a magician and a mobile pet farm, you were planning on inviting your mum over for some cake. You start to question who their party is really for...
