When you’re attending a baby shower and trying to think of the perfect gift, the usual go-to is something that prepares the mother for the journey ahead. It’s probably best to avoid the following, however.
Parents all over the world have shared a collective groan after the unveiling of a prank baby shower card that cries for three hours.
The card is the brainchild (it’s so evil that we’re not sure if that’s even the correct term) of Joker Greeting, a greetings card company that specialises in prank cards.
In what is possibly the cruellest joke ever, the baby shower card will play a spine-tingling baby’s cry for at least three hours. And do you want to hear the worst part? It only stops once it’s been played right through, so you either need to break it or throw it out of the window to get some peace!
As you can see from the video below, the card looks deceptively sweet, the message inside reading: “A baby is God’s sweetest gift…a gift that keeps on giving.” One flick of that button, however, and you are in for quite a rude welcome to the parent club!
Mums- and dads-to-be – you have been warned!
